Blog Series
The American Road Trip, A guide to Big Sur, California, & Camp cuisine

In this Blog series I was asked to create an original, but, related series of blog posts and one social media post.
The series had to remain consistent with an existing organization's purpose statement, writing voice and target
audience. This project required me to understand the role of technologies and media in developing and communicating
information.

I was required to research my target audience and develop a strategy that would aid me in in presenting
relevant content, as the goal was to attract the audience to my posts and meet their needs.
In creating my blog series, I was careful to remain consistent with my writing voice and cohesive in my designs
across all posts.

The Cahuilla

In this assignment the objective was to design a live website for a persona created during this course. In line with
my persona for this project I created a website for a mock Hotel I named The Cahuilla, a trendy, adult-only hotel,
located in Palm Springs.

In developing a business for my persona, I was pushed to recognize, analyze, and understand the contexts within
which information, and knowledge are produced. This project allowed me to demonstrate my ability to understand
and select appropriate technologies for presenting and communicating information to an intended audience.
I was also required to reference all images utilized for my project, which ensured I was mindful of legal and
ethical uses of content. Although, I found it incredibly challenging to curate a folder of public use images that also created a sense of cohesiveness, I feel I was successful in my endeavor.
